Bill Chisolm Professional Service Award
The NATA Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee (EDAC) has presented the Bill Chisolm Professional Service Award annually since 1994 to recognize an individual who has contributed to the development and enhancement of ethnically diverse athletic trainers. The recipient is selected by the committee and is not required to be a member of an underrepresented ethnically diverse population.

Award Eligibility
- NATA members nominated must be in good standing
- Non-NATA members may be nominated
- Candidates are not required to be a member of an underrepresented ethnically diverse population
Any NATA member may nominate a candidate for the Bill Chisolm Professional Service Award by completing the nomination form below by March 15.
Completing the Form
All nomination forms must be complete in their entirety. Any category answered with “See Attached Resume” will be treated as a non-answer. Please familiarize yourself with what is being requested. Candidates are not expected to have experience in all areas and should not feel intimidated by having to leave some parts of the form blank.
Letters of Recommendation
The candidate's application should include two letters of recommendation, one from the nominating party and one from an individual chosen by the candidate.
The nominating party is responsible for ensuring this occurs.
The Evaluation Process
EDAC's Honors & Awards Sub-Committee will review completed nomination forms.
Notification
Recipient will be notified of the committee's selection on April 17.
